Xpressions is a student-led magazine and fashion organization that promotes and encourages the work of Black and other minority creatives. Xpressions aims to foster creative spaces for marginalized students to express their artistic visions within a fashion organization.

While serving as a co-event coordinator from 2023-2024 for Xpressions and eventually the co-president from 2024-2025, I had the chance to work with the magazine team to curate two shoots for two of our print issues: The Artisan Issue (Volume II) and The Curio Collection (Volume III).

Event Planning for Xpressions Fashion Organization
I joined the Xpressions team in the fall of 2023, as I was brought on by Xpressions co-founder: Nicholas Fantauzzi III.
I worked closely with Nicholas throughout the making of the first Sustainable Strut, and he trusted me to continue Xpressions legacy on. In my time as co-event coordinator, we curated several events that gave us the chance to collaborate with other creative-oriented student organizations on UNC's campus.
